fivequestionfriday.

I'm linking with MyLittleLife for 5 Question Friday. :)

My Little Life

1. Do you sing karaoke? If so, what is your go to song?
I karaoke only when I'm with a group, usual girls for some reason! ;) I think the last song I sang was "When God Fearin' Women get the Blues" by Martina. Fabulous, heel stompin', girl power song!!

2. What is your favorite coffee drink?
Yes, my maiden name is Coffey, and I do not like coffee. BUT I have found one drink I can tolerate. Peppermint Mocha. Mmmm. Very good. So good that you can barely taste the espresso! That's the point, right? :)

3. If you could choose your own name, what would it be?
When I was little, I would have answered this question with YES!! Let me be Samantha or Charlotte or Lindsey. But, now, I love my name, Lydia DiCristina Coffey Pierce. It's unique and represents me and both sides of my family. Lydia is from the book of Acts in the Bible and was a seller of purple cloth (My fave color!). DiCristina is my great-grandmother's maiden name. She was French and married into an Italian family, Gargano, (Mom's fam). Coffey is the Irish side of my family. Hence the strawberry-blonde hair and fair skin. Now Pierce has joined my name. Maybe it's Irish too?? I need to do research on that…

4. Were you ever bullied?
Yes. By my sisters. I love them, but they still pick on me! And, no, I'm not bitter… :)

5. How often do you eat fast food?
Too often!! Jared and I both work crazy shift schedules so eating out is just plain convenient. We need to plan meals better in order to cook and pack dinner before we go to work. Any tips to help me succeed in this area?? I always feel like we're eating the same meals over and over and over again.

  2. Peppermint mochas are yummy! I am semi-addicted to coffee..or fueled by it sounds better. I think as we get older we start to fit our names and like them. I hated mien when I was younger. You have a great name!
